Everyone make it through the first full day of fall without too many shed tears about the end of summer? haha.
When the calendar turns to about mid September, I start to crave all things warm and cozy, and start to add a few “fall” touches to our home. Nothing too drastic, just some small changes that signal a change from “beach” weather to “sweater” weather. Usually just in the kitchen and living room and then have lots of pumpkin spice, or autumn scented candles scattered throughout.
I took these photos a few days ago and when I went to upload them today, I realized I went a bit overboard with the amount of photos I took! Ooops! haha. So, sit back, relax, have your coffee while I go light my candles and you can flip through to have a look.
This shiplap fireplace wall is a new addition that we had built during the summer. There will be a post about this in the near future. 😉
I haven’t been physically in a home décor store yet for Fall shopping, so these items are from last year (or maybe the year before haha) But I hope they give you some inspiration for decorating your own place.
I actually didn’t change out much. Just took away some of the blue and white décor I had during the summer, and replaced with shades just a little darker, and added some candles.
You can find me here on the couch most mornings, drinking my coffee 😉
I prefer slot pragmatic bet 100 subtle colors as opposed to bright orange, ( the aqua colored pumpkin is a favorite) and save the orange and black Halloween decorations until a day or two before Halloween.
I didn’t post any links to any of the décor, mostly because I didn’t purchase anything new this year, but if you’d like to know about any of the items, I can give you the info. Just leave a comment at the bottom of the post. 🙂
Thanks for scrolling!
