When you live on Canada’s East Coast, the Summer can be short!! And this Spring has felt like it is going on forever! The weather has been really cool and dreary. But that doesn’t stop me from wishing and dreaming ahead to warmer days…. 🙂 I know they are coming.
- Summer is coming….. Who watches Game of Thrones? I believe the series finale was on Sunday night. I’ve got the first season watched but that’s it. I know It’s a show I would love, I just haven’t gotten back into the second season yet! Why do you all love it? What was your favorite season?
So I thought I would do just a quick post and share some of the recent clothing purchases I made, with warmer weather in mind. Most of these are items I’ve already bought, the shoes are on a wish list. haha, I do get itching to get new wardrobe pieces when the weather changes, and I still need to switch out my closet from its “Fall/Winter” clothes to the “Spring/Summer” ones. But the weather has been so cool still that I haven’t brought myself around to doing it yet! Now, I am far from considering myself a fashionable person, but I do love clothes, and I try. haha. I generally go for more casual clothes, and I try to buy items that I know I will wear for a few seasons. And if anything is too pricey I think about the “price per wear”. EX. I recently bought expensive sunglasses but plan on wearing rtp slot tertinggi hari ini for years. So I felt, they were worth it. As opposed to buying a cheaper pair and wearing them for only the summer.

White tank and green highwaist pant are from American Eagle. I did buy the tank in a rusted orangy/pinkish color but I couldn’t find it online to share. I will not be wearing it with my belly showing 😉 but tucked in. haha The pants are cuter rolled up than down straight. And the simple black flip flops are from Aldo. (These are on my wish list 😉 )
I did buy this dress as well, only in navy from Amazon.com and I thought any of these shoes would be super cute with it. The heels to make it dressy, and the flats for casual of course. I love wearing a dress in the summer. It’s so simple, that, and a nice flat shoe, good to go! The heels are from Nordstrom and are a bit pricier, so they would have to be one of those “price per wear” decisions. 😉 I haven’t bought any of these shoes either. Just wishful thinking again. The flats are from Spring Shoes Canada. *the gray perforated pair of heels are currently on sale at Nordstrom at 50% off.
Both Aldo and Spring shoes currently have tons of beautiful shoes and flats to choose from.
These are my recent pricier purchase. I had been thinking of investing in a “good pair” of sunglasses for awhile. I browsed the Ray Ban website then went into a local Sport Check store, planning on getting the aviator style, as those were the style I have been wearing for the past few years, however when I tried the Ray Ban aviators on, they looked horrible on me haha. There are different styles of the aviators but they didn’t have any in stock in that particular store so I tried on this pair of “Erika’s” and they were really comfy on. Once I got a few different opinions I bit the bullet and bought them. The return on them I believe was 60 days, so I took them home and wore them for a few days before deciding for sure. They are super comfy, I don’t feel I squint at all when wearing them, they are light, so you hardly notice you even have them on…. long story short…I love them. haha I highly recommend them if they have been something you have been thinking of purchasing.
And, of course, while shopping at Marks Work Wearhouse with my husband, haha, I found these and did purchase them as well. Just a casual jean short. They are Silver brand, so I know the quality is good.
These shoes were just something that caught my eye while I was browsing for cute flats. They are from Spring Shoes Canada, and they currently have a Buy One Get One 70% off!! I thought they would be beautiful if you had a wedding or special event to attend during the warmer months.
If the weather would just cooperate…….
