Hello Friday!!! Hope everyone had a great and safe Halloween with lots of yummy treats, and hopefully no tricks 😉
Thought I would share another post with a couple of things that I’m currently loving. My plan is to still share these things regularly, and they will be random haha. Please let me know if these are boring you to tears, or if you’re loving them, if you’ve tried Bonus New Member 200, or any of your own suggestions! I love feedback and chatting! You can do so by commenting at the bottom of the post.
The first item is a pair of jeans. I pretty much live in jeans but tend to find it hard to find a pair that are both comfy and stay put (any other “hippy” ladies feel my pain)?
Over the summer I bought a few pairs of Levis. I had never owned a pair before but wanted to give them a try. They fit really well in the fitting room so I bought 3 different pairs (all different sizes) so you really have to try them on to be sure they fit. These are probably my favorite of the 3 (fit wise).
They are super high waisted, which is new for me and I wasn’t sure if I could get used to them. I ended up LOVING them (obviously, they made it to a blog post) haha. The washing instructions were literally to “wash less” ( an attempt to conserve energy/increase the lifespan of the jean) I wasn’t sure how that would go because I tend to wash jeans more often than I probably should, as I find most jeans that I’ve owned tend to stretch out quite a bit, even just after one day of wear. But these DO NOT lose their shape! Not sure how, but that one reason alone makes them awesome. Also because they are high waisted, they don’t fall down lower on my hips as I’m moving around. Another plus is that they tuck everything in good and snug, (meaning no muffin tops).
The only downside to them that I can think of is that I find it harder to decide on a shirt to wear with them because they are so high waisted.
I’ve been searching for a link to share for the jeans but I can’t find the exact ones. So I just included the inner tag.
My second favorite thing for today is my time saver hair “fixer”. I hate having to wash my hair every second day. It feels so time consuming. (I don’t think I’m alone in feeling this way) haha.
About a year ago I decided to get in on the hype of dry shampoo spray. And let me say I’ve never looked back. haha. I’ve tried a few brands from hair salons that were great but found that this drugstore/grocery store brand works just as well for half or even less of the price.
This one sprays out in almost a white color onto my roots so if you have darker hair I would recommend trying one for darker hair. They are available in this brand for different hair colors. The only scent that I tried that I didn’t like was called fresh and clean (I think), it reminded me of lemon pledge. Unless you like to smell like that, I won’t judge 😉
I lift the hair up and give a few good sprays over the roots, massage it in just a little, then brush out my tangles and style as usual. It saves me an extra day or sometimes 2 without washing my hair.
What are some of your favorite timesaving hair tricks?
Thanks for stopping by! 🙂 Have a great weekend.
