Valentine’s Day… if you google it, it literally says the “Day of Love and affection”. I love a holiday, and if it’s a day to celebrate how much you love someone or show someone how special they are in your life, I’m all for it! Especially if it involves wine and cupcakes 🙂 You don’t have to buy something expensive or make a huge gesture or buy a huge bouquet of flowers. Just doing something small for someone to show them how much they mean to you and if it involves cupcakes it’s even better 😉
I was going to make cupcakes but then I came across these cute red velvet cupcakes at the grocery store and thought I would put together a few ideas with a touch of red and pink for anyone special in your life.
Who doesn’t love lindor? I had these heart shaped ones the other day, and for some reason they are better than the round ones. I think because there is more gooey filling in the middle…drool!!!
If you are spending some time with your girlfriends (or maybe need a reason to) a cute bottle of Rose, chocolate, some raspberries (to keep it healthy) haha.
People want to feel special, so a small gesture that says you thought of them goes a long way. You don’t have to spend money to make someone feel special. Bake some cookies or cupcakes (or buy them, if you can’t bake haha) and deliver with a little note telling people in your life your favourite thing about them. Cook your favourite meal or your partners favourite meal, cook it together to make it more fun. Set a pretty table with some red and pink to make it a little more special.
