My favourite time of year, and If you know my Mom, you know I get it honest!
It’s so hard to believe that we are into November and with the time change on the weekend, the evenings are longer and dark, all the more reason to start with a few Christmas decorations and twinkle lights 😉
I thought I would share a bit of last year’s Christmas decor as well as some decor that is in my Amazon cart and some that I’ve been eyeing up. Not necessarily to buy but just because it’s Christmas decor and it’s so pretty!! 🙂

The Santa bust on the mantle is from Michaels last year. I wanted the gold one but it wasn’t available at the time so I have plans to paint this one gold.

Love this look above https://amzn.to/3LqjxtX I’m planning on buying this one. Not sure what I will use as a vase to display yet. It may be a white ceramic water jug, or an antique jug of some sort that I will paint.

I purchased the brass candle holders from antique stores. I do have a set that I bought at Canadian Tire, this is the link for those, (photo below) https://www.canadiantire.ca/en/pdp/canvas-tabletop-christmas-decor-gold-metal-taper-candle-holder-3-pk-0515576p.html?rq=Candle+holders They are pretty and modern, but for Christmas, I love the look of the antique brass ones better.

I used my Christmas bells as part of a centrepiece on the table. But you could use them so many ways. If you wanted to splurge and buy multiple sets, they would make a beautiful statement hanging from a mantle, or you could take a tension rod and mount in a doorframe and twirl garland around it with the multiple sets of bells hanging from that. If you’re just using the set of 3 they are pretty on mantles or bookshelves in amongst the decorations or on top of books.

I will soon be starting to decorate for Christmas. Have you decorated any areas of your homes yet? What plans or ideas do you have for your decorations this year? I haven’t fully decided yet, some areas will be the same as the pictures I shared. But of course some will be different. We have a new puppy in the house this year, so not sure how that will go. Haha. I may have to leave the wrapped gifts hidden until it’s time to open them!! And hopefully he leaves the decorations on the tree and the garlands where they are. Chewing on sticks and toys is his favourite thing!
I have a few plans for sharing some Christmas decorations as well as a few gift guides if people like that sort of thing. Let me know if you have anything you’d like to see me post about.
Hope everyone has a great weekend!
